To recognize Small Business Saturday, we’re highlighting a fantastic small business at Bowie Town Center, Ethnicitees. We spoke with the owner, Sean Ramon Montague.

Tell us about Ethnicitees.

Since its inception in 1994, Ethnicitees LLC has been in the business of designing and marketing pioneering educational Black heritage apparel that are designed with linocut portraits of Black historical figures on the front and biographical history told on the back of each respective person featured on the front.

What do you find most gratifying about owning your business?

Incredible freedom of charting your own success story. Your success is determined on how much work you invest in your own business.

Are you doing anything special for the holiday season that shoppers can look forward to?

Ethnicitees has new African Mask designs added to our “Tribal Wear” imprint and more items, including African handwoven handbags!
