King Tutankhamen, also known as Tutankhamun, was a pharaoh of ancient Egypt’s 18th Dynasty who ruled around 1336–1327 BCE. He became king at about nine years old and died while still a teenager. In 1922, an excavation team led by Howard Carter uncovered his largely intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Its extraordinary treasures offer a remarkable view of ancient Egyptian artistry, beliefs, and royal life.

This original Ethnicitees linocut by Sean Ramon Montague brings ancient Egyptian history to life through educational Cultural Wearables, pairing an original portrait on the front with biographical history on the back.
